The West Riding is probably the easiest public house to find in Dewsbury, as it is located on Platform 2 of Dewsbury Railway Station. If you are visiting by train, then you should have no problems, otherwise hit the main ring road, and follow signs to the train station. It is dead easy, so go on, miss another train...

Meet Team West Riding
The West Riding is owned and run by locals Mike Field and Sarah Barnes. Mike established the bar in 1994 to pursue his passion for real ales, after being a founder member of Kirklees CAMRA in the early 70's and a director of West Riding Brewery from 1989 -1992. Mike continues as an active member of Heavy Woollen CAMRA to this day.
Sarah Barnes, Mike's step daughter, joined the business in 1995 and is now a joint partner. Sarah is also a real ale lover and passionate about providing great bars with real atmosphere, fine ales and great service. She is an active member of the local Heavy Woollen CAMRA branch and lead organiser of the CAMRA 2010 Dewsbury Beer Festival.
